The title of this post is one of my favorite quotes ever! Even though you cannot find it in any of his works, this quotation is credited to Mark Twain, and it says:
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
I like to think that this quotation represents me and my free spirit. I have always loved traveling, exploring and trying new things never afraid of what they might bring along. I understand that it is in human nature to want to settle, put down the roots and everything, I guess that's normal. From the moment we are born we are bond to someone, and as the years pass, we become more and more attached to people, places, things at home.. But the truth is, non of that makes us who we are. In order to find ourselves we cannot miss a chance to explore the world and all its wonders.
So think about sailing away from the safe harbor..Even for a day, even for a minute..Even in your mind. Cause human nature is not only about getting attached, but also about getting free.
kisses loves!
